VISION

Set in a rare riverfront location, this home was designed to blur the boundaries between indoors and out. Materials were chosen to echo the beauty of the river as it changes from season to season, with luxurious, tactile neutrals providing a setting for nature and art.

Execution

A muted palette with textural interest balances the river and forest setting and provides a backdrop for the owner's eclectic art collection.

Bold artwork by Cuban artist Kadir Lopez finds an unexpectedly ideal context against a feature wall of reclaimed barn wood in the dining room.

Detail

A custom-designed chandelier fashioned of cast-iron bronze and hand-blown glass buds hangs over the dining room. This touch of luxury and glamor creates a sophisticated contrast against the weathered texture of the accent wall.
