From our home offices, the Matter team seems to gravitate toward gratitude on a daily occasion.
How fortunate are we to do work for which we are so passionate?
How full are our lives thanks to our clients and community?
How is it that we get to office comfortably from our homes, without too many inconveniences or impacts to our work?
How grateful are we to spend this time tuning our schedules and expectations to a path we are proud to pursue?
How blessed to live in a world with modern infrastructure? And the healthcare heroes who work so hard each day to protect and heal victims of a heartless disease.
“Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.”

As we all settle into the realities of the last two months, perhaps we’re also starting to process what changes might become permanent. Certainly our Matter team has taken some much needed time to reflect, reset and reprioritize. And this has led to a tidal wave of gratitude.
It’s undeniable that COVID-19 has changed us as a community, country and culture. The pandemic has challenged us to think about what is good, what is necessary, what is helpful, what is meaningful. It has revealed where we are hurting, where we can improve -- and it has also cast light on the world’s gifts and compounded our gratitude for them.
As we continue to do the work at Matter that we can do now, we really can’t take another step without pausing to express our gratitude for so many, including you:
Thank You to our clients for trusting us with your dreams.
Thank You to our contractor and vendor teams who help us translate dreams into realities.
Thank You to our community for inspiring us and sometimes carrying us in this journey.
Thank You to the many heroes -- in healthcare, public safety and services, and so many others who are facing the risks of their employment and the overall call of duty to keep us safe today and tomorrow.
Thank You to our families, for acceptance, grace, wisdom and so many other gifts.
We will continue to work to keep gratitude at the front of our daily lives. Wishing you health and happiness as we get to the other side of this.

Thank you all.
