Project In Progress: Chatfield
Published: November 8, 2018
We’ve been hard at work on a head-to-toe remodel of a hillside home that overlooks Maroon Creek Valley and Buttermilk Mountain.
Our clients originally came to us in need of quick cosmetic updates, but we knew the home’s bones had even greater potential. They trusted our vision and signed on for new interior finishes, a reconfigured layout and an exterior facade remodel.
From executing extensive architectural drawings to customizing the color and material palettes, we had our hands in every step of the design process, and we have loved seeing the collaborative vision come to life.
Slated to debut just in time for Christmas 2018, the new home will be open and inviting with spectacular mountain views and timeless modern finishes.
Here’s a few behind-the-scenes shots of the transformation.
The home’s original entry had a deteriorating wood bridge that led to the front door. We are installing a new steel-enforced bridge with embedded heating and a glass railing by Glass Unlimited to ensure a safe entrance into the home.

All new Kolbe windows supplied by Roaring Fork Building Specialties were added to bring in natural light and take advantage of the gorgeous Maroon Creek views.
